Ok I admit it... I am a bad blogger!

But I have a reason... just hear me out!

London is a hard city.

She can be your best friend or your worst enemy.

And the past 6 months, I think it's fair to say that we hated each other.

I wasn't enjoying work anymore (to the point that my team leaders at work would have to pull me aside to calm down to stop from yelling at customers.).  There is nothing worse than coming home from a horrible day at work and not feeling comfortable in your house ( which did result me in drinking 2 bottles of wine and a lot of yelling at a certain housemate.)

I think to say that I was getting miserable would be accurate.  Which explains the lack of blogs (nothing like being miserable to be the inspiration to write.)

Rewind to April, I was on skype with my sister and she dropped a bombshell.  She was having a baby and I was going to be an Auntie.

So being miserable in London, and seeing all the excitement that was happening at home, I had a choice to make.

Renew my visa and stick it out or accept my fate, book a flight and go home to enjoy being an Auntie for the very first time.

The choice was easy.

So operation move home without telling anybody but family was a go-go!

I had booked my flights months ago, handed in my resignation for my job, found somebody to move into my room, packed and had a lot of beer, wine and cider saying goodbye to people.

I managed to get a plane, leave the country and travel around the other side of the world without any of my friends knowing.

Getting off the plane at home and coming out of departures and seeing my pregnant sister and her husband was the best welcome home present I could have ever wanted!

So now I am sitting in front of a fan in an air-conditioned room, happy with my choice.

Will I ever move away again?

Never say never. (#Bieber)

Do I regret my choice to leave?

Not for a second.

So now the token Aussie is back with my own kind, lets see what kind of adventures I get into!
